The server was excellent. The beer keg for heineken needs the lines to be cleaned. The tilapia was fantastic but a little cold. The manager feels some type of way if we ask for too much napkins . So heres my message to her ... I use these napkins to clean my face , hands, and your tables. If i ask for wings or something that was messy do u expect me to sit here at this table with hands that are appalling ?? Its little things like this that you shouldnt be concerned about and you should rather visit each table for feedback and ask how things are rather than complain about too much napkins being given out.

The service here is sort of hit-or-miss. Purely because restaurants have high turnover and its apparent that not everyone likes their job. I won't discredit the rating because I've had too many good experiences at Flanigan's that out rule the bad ones. One thing that is consistent throughout all Flanigan's locations*, is the food/drink consistency and unpretentious scene within the place. Everyone's dressed casual in jeans and shorts, and the food complements the relaxed vibe. We love their specials: Mexican Mondays, Wing-it Wednesdays, Joe's Meal Deals, discounted lunch, and happy hour everyday. They also offer good deals during sporting events and we spent many World Cup game nights at this place. In addition, Flanigan's really puts on a show for St. Patrick's day and we like to partake in all the Irish and Leprechaun festivities. Onto the food: the lemon-butter tilapia is hands-down my favorite entree and I usually make a Joe's "meal-deal" out of it.. Which includes a glass of wine, or drink, house or Caesar salad, and butter garlic rolls for just a few dollars up charge. My +1 always gets a burger or ribs and I never hear complaints. The nachos are also delicious and we like to pile up on two servings of chili and down the whole plate with a pitcher of Amberbock or Blue Moon. Anyways, if you don't already love Flanigans, you really oughtta give them another try. Great place for the bargain-hunter and American in you! Cheers *this excludes the coconut grove location, believe me, we've tried!

What can you say about Flanigans? It's a South Florida institution where you can go for tasty, casually upscale bar food and to catch game with a milt flirtatious bartender (and yes she was cute). There were a few misses today, but not enough to keep me from coming back. However, it wasn't a 5 star experience. Yes, the taste of both the potato skins and their famous BBQ sauce (didn't take the bottle :) were on point. Soda refills were also timely. My order of potato skins were a little on the dry side and seemed smaller than usual. While my chicken breast was juicy and made right with the BBQ sauce, I ordered the blackened one for the extra kick of spice. However, it looked and tasted like the regular grilled with no added seasoning. Shape up for next time Flannys!

Service at the bar stinks. Complete lack of customer service. Ignore u on everything. U have to ask for everything. No offer for a second drink. Guess they don't need the revenue. Zito the bartender is in love with himself and not the patrons. STAY AWAY. WONT BE BACK.

I went to two different locations while I stayed in Miami visiting. I heard of this place from watching South Beach Tow!!! So I had to come n try it!!! OMG the shrimp was to die for. The customer service excellent. The garlic rolls with the garlic sauce on the side. I died and went to food heaven. When you come to the area take my advice and visit one of the locations you will not be disappointed. The lunch special and happy hour special are great too

Chicken pesto was fullfilling , thank youuuu! If you're in the mood for ribs..just get 'em, they're never a bad choice here!

Service kicked ass today. Way better. I'm upping it to fours stars. Food is always consistent and delicious. They really need to redo the parking lot though.

Great franchise, but Manager at this location was "using" empty table in bar area during Canes game so had to go elsewhere.

  • Charley W.

Good ribs and best happy hour. Don't ask for any mixologist drinks! They can only make simple drinks which does not include an old fashion. The burgers are thick and juicy. It gets crowded at certain times. There are so many regulars.

The portions here put u to sleep. . Always consistent always fast too and the drink specials are good too

  • Lisa M.

Ordered take out and waited about 30 for it at the bar. Not once was I offered a drink or anything accommodating while I waited. The hostess wasn't there to greet anyone and of the two bartenders tending bar, only one seem to be actually working and sober. I'm not sure if this is how Flanagan's operate everywhere or just this location. I give three stars because my food was good.

  • Chris G.

Unfortunately it seems that the overall good quality at flanigans is starting to diminish. The peel and eat shrimp were full of poop and tasted bad. The dolphin fingers completely fell apart and the ribs didn't have enough sauce. Always been a big flanigans fan but I think the food is going downhill. Service and atmosphere still great.

  • Laura P.

I love this place! Consistently great service, no matter where we sit, no matter when we come in! Food is always on point! Great service over the phone when placing to go orders too! Staff is always friendly and informative and happy! I love seeing the interaction between co-workers! You can tell there is a great manager who takes care of their employees running this place! Keep up the great work!

  • Oscar R.

The food is the best of all the other flannigans I've visited. Their ribs are amazing and their burgers are on point. The service could definitely use some improvement; I can only thing of two servers that are good, and the rest are ok at best. Still one of my favorite places to eat in Miami.

  • Violeta A.

Finding a parking spot is always a challenging mission. The staff is always welcoming and friendly. The food is never disappointing. My fave is the house salad with lightly blackened dolphin. My friends say their ribs and chicken wings are top notch and fall off the bone delicious! If you are looking for Keys atmosphere, generous portions and good times Flanigan's is waiting for you! 10 free wings with every pitcher of lemonade, soda, iced tea or beer every Wednesday!

THE WORST SERVICE EVER! We had stopped in Sunday night around 10:30 is for a late night bite. We were a party of 5 and told it would be 10-15 minutes to be seated. The hostess hand a paper with the number 29 written on it indicating when that number is called or flashed up on a screen by the bar, our table is ready. Fine, we'll go have a drink at the bar. After ordering a drink and taking a couple of sips a 6 person high top opens up next to the bar. A bus boy clear the table and the waitress even stops by to clear a coaster from it. Number 28 flashes across the screen. I have been closely monitoring the hostess station as there is not much to do at a crowded bar with no seating. A party of 2 is seated all the while the empty and CLEAN table is still right behind us. 28 continues to blink across the board for 10 more minutes and this time we have been there for more than 20 minutes. As our party was growing restless some members sit on the few chairs on the outside of the empty table. The waitress comes running up to them almost screaming that we had to get out of her section. We explained that we we're #29 the next one who will be seated and this will probably be our table. She states she doesn't care and rushes off. At this point I seriously don't even want to deal with the waitress so I head to the hostess stand (where no one had been attending for over 10 minutes). I wait another 5 minutes until someone appears and instead of attending me she starts to laugh and gossip on her headset to another employee. After she finishes her gossip I explain to her the issue and that the table has been open for a long time and she tells me oh you have to wait we have to clean it. I then explain to her that it is a perfectly clean table as I saw them clean it and have been standing right next to it. Her response was exactly and with a huge attitude "you saw them clean it or he because the bus boy is a male" seriously? To make matters worse as the rest of our members in the party trickled their way down to the stand the waitress comes running up and tells the hostess that we have to stop sitting in her section if we don't have a table. Lady, this is our table if anyone can do their job right! The attitude was so disgusting that we left and did not even give them a chance to "sit us down". I hope this gets to the manager that was working Sunday night 3/22. We ended up going to flannigans in surf side. Way better service!!! I

  • Jennifer T.

Not too long of a wait. The server didn't seem like she cared about us and kept disappearing. Never ask to refill our beer when they've been sitting empty for 30 min and just kept the mugs there. The food came super late probably 40 min.. We waited for a while not trying to rush but the server was no where to be found not even to reassure us that our food is on its way. Probably forgot to put it in. We finally flagged another waitress and she went looking for ours. Finally... She comes with the food and rolls her eyes saying did you need anything? Um, Yes for you to do your job. Food was okay. Ate quick and left

Honestly, the only reason i visit this location is because of the close proximity to my house. I would highly recommend the Bal Harbor location first. I am here pretty late on a Tuesday evening, there are open tables and the male host is on his phone at the host stand, now I was a hottest @ one point in my life and that was not professional nor permitted. I wish he would get off his phone and get me a table !!!!!

  • Bianca P.

Yup I was right horrible service again. So I literally live a few minutes away so we come every so often. This flanaigans doesn't really have too much parking available, so I parked by the wall of the marina. We were welcomed by the hostess and she tried to seat us on a high top. I asked her if there was any booths available and she said it would be about a 5-10 minutes wait. We said okay not a problem. So after a 8 minute wait we were seated and informed our waiter was gonna be Bruno. Well Bruno didn't stop by for a good 10 minutes and when he did he was in a rush and didn't get my girlfriend appetizer. We got the clam chowder soup which is okay but chewy. We got a pitcher of beer to share which came with a free smoke fish dip, not a fan. For our entree I got the chicken stickers which were delicious, they are tender, juicy and crunchy all at the same time. It's apparently the only thing that home make there. My girlfriend got the lemon chicken pasta with garlic rolls. The garlic rolls are delicious but nothing special that you can't buy at your local super market. The pasta was soggy with the sauce on the side. I remember it being better. Our wait or didn't check on us. Forgot to bring napkins and my sauce for the wings. I mean, I understand it gets hectic but you do work for tips.

Flanigans usually never fails me as I typically order the same dish. This location is quite small as far as the dining area goes but the bar is a good size. I so enjoy their menu, typical American bar food. I usually always order the steak or chicken Philly sandwich. It is on a hoagie roll with melted provolone cheese and onions and mushrooms per your request. Excellent seasoning on both the chicken and steak. The chicken Philly I seem to enjoy better. And they have the most awesome curly fries, delish! They have great specials on beer especially during games with plenty TVs. Our server was good and we enjoyed another great lunch. This location needs some updating, it is old and rustic inside, not to appealing. All in all if you want to check out a game, grab some good bar food this place always satisfies my hunger.

Awsome service bar tender was on point. Love the atmosphere and the food was delish!!

There are three reasons why I have ended up in this place about 15 times in my life: Location (the biggest), their chicken philly, & they have sports on TV. I'm afraid my time with them has run out. Only once during those 15 times has the service been reasonable. Perhaps the regulars get adequate attention. On my most recent visit, my car was broken into in their parking lot. I was told by two employees when I came back in and told them, independent of each other, that it was "that time of the year." I was barely coming to this place to begin with, and the lack of safety in a well-lit parking lot pretty much clinches that I'll never be back again.

My boyfriend and I are regulars here, only because North Miami is lacking in quality casual-dining places, and it's near our apartment. The service is hit or miss, much like the food. Stephanie is amazing, and goes so far as to bring us drinks and say hello, even when she isn't our server. Nico is also notably friendly. I love anything they serve with the fresh mahi mahi (dolphin). This past week we went early in the evening and had horrible service (server forgot our apps, never returned to the table after taking our order until it was time to drop the check). The food is usually solid, but this time it was horrible. My boyfriend ordered the New York strip and it was literally unseasoned. We aren't the type to complain, but this was so bad that my boyfriend spoke to the manager to let him know. We didn't make a fuss, just informed him about the steak, and he voluntarily took 10% off of our bill, which was a nice gesture. It's best to come here when it's busy, as service and food are definitely better.

4star for great happy hour and caramel cheese cake! i dont have sweet tooth, but their dolche de leche is die for.... quick service ,always packed . go for happy hour from 9.

  • Kensey R.

Overall the food is fine - just depends on what you order. Parking can be a little crazy if you come during the busy periods. There's a bar for those that prefer to drink and/or eat at the bar. And one of the nice features...tv's all over the place.

    (3)
  • Judy S.

The service is quick and easy here, always a pleasant atmosphere. BarBQ wings are excellent.

If you're looking for a place to watch the game when all your other favorite sports bars like Duffys (ect) are packed, this is probably the way to go. The specials are daily, but they really just aren't that "special." They're more like....decent. If I said I enjoyed one "decent special" over all others, it'd be on Wednesdays when they offer a "free" order of wings with the purchase of a pitcher. The food tastes good and the atmosphere is nothing special, but I think it's one of those "it gets the job done" types of places. Don't get me wrong, the location is fairly convenient, along with the hours and service... but there was nothing over-the-top about it. Good or Bad.

Been coming here for years. Hands down best lunch in town! Best burger in Miami! You can never go wrong bringing out of town people here! You must try the Dolphin Sandwich. The service is always good and quick! A Must try if you haven't been here! Good Florida vibe with lots of fishing pictures and seaside feelings!

My husband and I have confirmed this our favorite spot to have dinner, watch a game, or just eat some great ribs!!! Depending on the night, there is a waiting line, but not that big. The host's do try their best to find a table as soon as they can. The waiters are very friendly and respectful towards us. The atmosphere here is very nice. Once you come in you see the bar, and then there is a section for people to sit in and eat with plasma tv's and booths. We always get the Rib Combo with Chicken wings (which by the way is to die for). The clam chowder soup is amazing, as well as the Garlic roles. What I love most about this place are the Ribs. Nobody does them like flanigans. They are a bar, so if you do choose a drink dont be surprised to get a little tipsy after one or two. Other than that, this restaurant has best of both worlds. Very family oriented, but also a great place to drink, eat, and just have a good time. I love this place, and have been coming here for years !!

Kinda funny that my co-workers were talking about this place Friday afternoon (one of them, who is pregnant, was having her cravings and the way she described some of the entrees, well I felt it was my duty to eavesdrop!). Saturday while out shopping I intended to head over to Red Lobster but lo and behold, they had a power outage. So we crossed the street and decided to try out this Flanigan's locale. Now admittedly I was probably smitten by the handsome and friendly waiter Andre but $2.99 rum drinks!? YUM! Also a great place for a steak, seafood, corkscrew salty fries that go with anything and a nice family friendly vibe. My seared dolphin was excellent, not a smidge left on the plate and I really appreciated their yummy home made cole slaw that was fresh and crunchy. I'll definitely be back!

omg this is my favorite place to go!! whenever i meet my boyfriend there it is always a treat!! try the lemon chicken pasta.... soooooo good! the portions are HUUUUUGE and the stuff so friendly and attentive it just feels like home. And dont forget to get the key lime pie... it even better that the ones in key west!!

A little disappointed in the wings of this place! For some reason it taste different than other locations but don't get me wrong I love this place and they serve great food. A pitcher of beer and the Heat game playing always is a good time!

  • Megan M.

Flanigan's is one of those places you can count on for good bar food. I liked this location because service is usually fast, and the food is consistently good. They always have food & drink specials. Each night has a different promo, and they have Joe's Meal Deals and various lunch specials. They have great burgers, nachos, and wings. Skip salads and pasta dishes here. Go for ribs, burgers, wings...you know, bar food!

  • Ying L.

I been here with my boyfriend four times in last week, I'd loved eat and drink here! But, Friday, we were extremely disappointed!! A waitress named Sabrina was very rude. At the beginning she was nice then take our orders. But around, 12:30, she suddenly take away all of our plates, cups, and the one pitch beer we didn't over yet!!! Just several seconds she got everything out of table then bring our bill, during this process, she didn't said on word!! If next time I see her will take care of us, trust me! I definitely will leave soon!!

I love this place! Ive been here a few times here n there with friends, and we enjoy it. Great food and decent prices. The portion sizes are huge! I normally get the burgers or BBQ...delicious! I especially love the nachos! I must say its enormous! The staff and service are great and like friendly.

Flanigan's is hands down my favorite chain of bars in Miami. The food is good and the drinks are cheap. What more is there to ask for? The last time I was here at the NM location I went with a group of friends to watch the Heat game... We went through two bartenders, several rounds of shots and drinks with no hiccups in service. Our bill was also low enough we almost felt guilty! Almost... I have not had the food at this location but I am going to assume it is the same as all the other Flanigan's in the area. I am obsessed with this chain's salads - blackened dolphin Cesar or salad-salad with a scoop of crab salad. Both delicious. Their menu is mainly bar food but it is good bar food. Definitely a fan...

For some reason when I think of lunch I never remember this place where eles can you go and get 1/2 backed chicken and a side for $6 , and the food is good I need to come more often

Oh Flanigan's. My mom lives in Keystone Point and since this is in walking distance, we find ourselves going here about once a week, which in my opinion is giving this place more business than it deserves. The crowd is not my favorite, but it's North Miami, so you really can't expect great things in general, so that's not Flanigan's fault.. but what is their fault, is THE SERVICE! It's terrible. Most service in Miami is terrible, but these people take the cake. They take forever to greet you, even longer to bring your drinks, and in general are either completely clueless (it constantly seems like it's everyone's first day) or saunter around the restaurant hating their lives. They do have good specials, like 10 wings if you get a pitcher of beer or some nights that are 1/2 off drinks till close, so you can at least get drunk fast enough to not be too bothered by the service. Also an ok place to go to watch a game and it gets pretty crowded. I will admit, the prime rib/baked potato/broccoli is surprisingly good, along with the rib rolls, the burgers, the wings, the BBQ chicken sandwich and the curly fries. The food is definitely consistent.. all they have left to do is properly train their staff!!

Ate here yesterday and, as always, it was good! Hubby ordered the usual giant salad and I ordered the blackened pork ribeye, which was A-MAZING! It was cooked to perfection, tender and juicy, and big enough to share. The employees here have always been very nice and attentive, if you aren't acting like a jerk, that is. LOL! We sat at the bar this time and the bartender, Sheena, was great! I snapped a surprise photo of her, which for some reason, seems to be frowned upon, but I did it anyway. :) The only reason I gave it four stars, rather than five, is because the guy who was filling the ice bins holding the beer seemed like he was having a bad day. I think he might have been a manager, but I would have been afraid to ask him anything right at that moment because he was slamming stuff around, knocking over the serving bottles that sit in front of the iced beer bins, and just appeared to be in a generally bad mood. Just my opinion - he's probably a really nice guy who had a bad minute or two. Anyway, we'll definitely go back and would recommend it to anyone.

This place is amazing when it wants to be , I love their rolls and ribs ,I always get the same Joe's Meal Rib combo , My boyfriend gets the burger and its great for most park but the fries and the chicken wing needs to improve.Although I went there countless time ,Last week I had the Ribs and fries and Rolls,it was amazing.I ordered out a few days later and was completely disappointed.Great location !

Awful bar food and service. Nice old school dive atmosphere if all yer doing is drinking with fries. They haven't messed that up yet. Example. I ordered a burger med rare. Came bloody raw to me . I took two bites to see if it was OK. Sent it back. When it came back it was the same bitten burger cooked more. instead of a new one. Wow. All I can say. Never come here . Fair warning. Nasty.

Came two days ago with a friend because I was craving Flannigan's chicken wings. Well we didn't just order wings, but also the fish dip and clam chowder. It was a Monday so they had the pitcher of beer with free nachos deal and because I was definitely ordering a pitcher of beer, we took the nachos too. Not much to say about chain restaurants, I try to avoid them mostly. But our server was AWESOME! The food was as good as it could get and they had just changed the Blue Moon keg so you know what's up. CRAVING SATISFIED -TPK

I love this place! If you want great drinks, go to the bar and order from Krista (or Krissy, something like that). She is very, very sweet and makes amazing drinks. She only works in the day though. I'm sure all the bartenders mix well, she's just my favorite. Honestly, all the service here is spectacular. I imagine that they must be getting paid and tipped well. And they deserve it! Even on their busiest days, the server is always outstanding in terms of treating you like a valued customer. The food is always delicious and comes out fast. I have sampled so many items. The BBQ ribs hands-down is my favorite and the sauce is to die for. I get a full rack each time even if I can never finish. The garlic rolls are smothered with butter and garlic, I like that. Some may not. I'm sure you can ask them to go light on it. Their chicken entrees are never over-done like most places. It's succulent and juicy and falls right off the bone. Their seafood is also yum! Shrimp, salmon, blackened tilapia, etc. They also have sandwiches and burgers which come large portioned so you don't feel cheated. Whatever system they have at this location, they should never change it. Happy employees means happy service, great food and satisfied customers!

  • J G.

This place is hit or miss and it is more miss than hit! You wait a long time to be seated then, wait some more te get helped. Once you order it takes for ever to get what you ordered and when you do it will probably be missing something or it will be wrong. If you ask for chicken wings be careful if you order mild because that is the same thing as ordering them plain. Go to another Flanigans avoid this one if you can!

I am completely disatistied. the food was terribly under cooked came from lunch and came out at dinner time. The weighter was very unpleasant and took down our order wrong. We waited for food, more than 11/2 hours. People walking in after us received their food within 15 minutes. I strongly recommend not having breakfast, lunch or dinner at this flanigans location. My recommendations, hire a complete new TEAM. This place sucks.

This is my all time favorite place. Although I usually don't like chains, this is a small local chain restaurant with great food. This place is best for their burgers, wings, ribs and seafood. They have it down pat. The food and drinks are not expensive. They have a $4.99 lunch special that's off the chain. We're there 3 or 4 times per week for lunch. Great service, friendly staff and a great locals hangout. Congrats!

Sports and trivia games are two things I like, and two things they have here along with some soulful food. The sports' games are on TV and the trivia cards are in the booth. Sometimes when service is slow distracting devices like the two mentioned above are very helpful in making my experience at any restaurant more enjoyable and even fun. Flanigan's keeps me busy and fills my stomach with their scrumptious ribs. And I like the brownie dessert too, who can go wrong with a huge brownie and slightly melted on the outside vanilla ice cream? Service the first time I went was so great! I swear I couldn't stop talking about how great this guy was, he was super funny and entertaining and really knowledgeable about their food. It was a relief to see a chain restaurant with people that like working there. Sometimes, well most of the time, service isn't doesn't compare to this. I'm giving it 4 stars because the food was good but not excellent. The curly fries disappointed me, but the rib rolls are awesome! (my boyfriend is quite the fan) They have some interesting combinations of food and good deals on the week days. They even had a deal for thanksgiving if you went for dinner that sounded pretty good. I recommend this place for late night dinner and sports bar food. They have TVs everywhere so don't miss a move.

Good place to drink with friends and play pool or hang out with the family. Food is bar-food but the atmosphere and location make this a great hangout. I've ordered the wings and nachos many time and they never disappoint.

On Superbowl Sunday, we ordered Full Racks of their Baby Back Ribs. The tender pieces of mouth watering meat fell off the bone as the W was putting them on a baking tray to heat up in the oven. Our guests haven't even arrived yet, but I'm on my second serving of ribs. We ordered them on the phone and they were ready in an hour for pickup. The bartenders will find your order and someone in the back will bring your food out.

I'm ashamed to admit it but I eat here about twice a week and I am going to simply go over what is good. I don't think this place is all that but it has a couple things working in it's favor. 1. Happy Hour 4-7 and 9 PM-close, M-F, Sat and Sun 11-7PM. You can get top shelf liquors half off and that is huge. Top shelf martinis $5-$6, McClellan12(ask for it it's there) $3.75 a shot...read that again, Bushmills/Jameson, Grey Goose/Ciroc, Aged Rums, lots of mixed cocktails like long islands, sex on the beach, and yes wet pussies. The bar is worth going although there can be a very wide range of folks both good and terrible at the bar. 2. Lunch specials for $5.99 include a 10 oz burger cooked to order, a chix sand that you can order without BBQ and the chix sand is the biggest I have ever seen, 10 wings which usually are $11 but $5.99 during lunch from 11am-4PM. If you are smart you go for lunch during the week at 3:30-3:45 and order lunch then start ordering half priced drinks at 4:00, just thank your Uncle Sean. They have salads, soups, sand you can mix n match as well. Don't forget you can get a whole baked potato loaded with those lunches all for $5.99, best deal in town bar none. 3. Joe's Meal Deal when there is no other special happening is a decent deal during the dinner hours. The prime rib can be delicious but not always consistent. The bad is some hit n miss staff including a couple bartenders who have mood swings and you just deal with it because of the prices. I think Jane and Richard plus the GM do the best they can to make things work, again the customer base is pretty all over the place including age, race, it's quite a mix and you are not going to please everyone. I try to come in, have a few quick drinks and then blow out of there. I understand why folks give this place low ratings but for the price and what is around here you really can't go wrong. Bar prices- 5 stars Food- Burgers, WIngs, and Chix sand 3.5/4 stars Service- 2.5/3 stars Avg- 4 stars.

Two items came our very poorly. Manager Jane came over after dinner was over. Told manager Jane that soup was like glue and our dining neighbors that also complained about their entree didn't get anywhere. The manager wanted our personal info to offer us a "complimentary soup" on our next visit - yay! When I told her I didn't think there would be a next visit she just walked away. What happened to Flannigans? It used to be a solid place for a bite to eat - now it's all about the booze and lack of common sense service - especially from manager here. No thanks. Jane, keep the soup.

Service here is hit or miss. The only reason I keep going back is because my friends like it. But honestly, I am not a big fan. Food is OK and the ambiance can be loud and a bit unpleasant. Good things on the menu? The burgers are not bad and so are the fries. Other than that? It is just OK.

I've been a regular here for years , but I ate the best fried shrimp I have ever had there tonight. The service is always great and the food is always the way you want it. And oh yeah.. SMOKED FISH DIP. Do it.

Once again, Flanigan's does not disappoint! One of the best happy hours in town (50% off all drinks) made for a good Friday evening. We were there so long, we actually went from the regular happy hour (4-7) into the late-night happy hour (9-close). (Don't judge us.) Our bartender, Ray Ray, was so much fun. Very attentive and seemed to enjoy his job, which can be rare. Food was the usual bar fare. I liked the Chicken Stickers, strips of white meat "fried, died and laid to the side". Pair those with a drink of your choice and you're good to go. The crowd at Happy Hour #1 was pretty sleepy, for lack of a better word. Happy Hour #2 had a few more lively characters. Had to make a trip to the ladies room and it was CLEAN. Wooo hooo! Also, there are PLENTY of big-screen tv's around the u-shaped bar, showing every game imaginable. One drawback here is a lack of parking. I had to circle around a few times and ended up parked on a back street. On the upside, there's a Big Daddy's Liquors attached to the restaurant so you can pick up a bottle of joy on your way out. Oh, and NO SMOKING! :-)))

When I say "Meh. I've experience better", this time I mean a better Flanigans. My best experience was at the one in Hallendale Beach. Let me first say that I love the Flanigan Burger and the food here does not disappoint. When I came to this location during late lunch the place was FREEZING to the point that I wanted to leave!! I asked TWICE if they could please lower the air conditioner but it never happened. My food was cold within about 5 mins. and took a LONG time to come out...over 20 mins. I was told by my waiter that many customers complain about the air conditioning. I was also told that my table happens to be one of the worst because of the rather large vent to the right of me. WTF? I will not return!

To keep it short, you have to ask the bartenders to place an order, and once you do they forget to check on you. Zero service. They forgot my order after I had been waiting for over a half hour, only to have a condescending bartender make excuses for her lack of service and a manager that had no control over his staff. stay away unless you like your time wasted. Oh, the food is really not that great!!!

  • Andy W.

I give Flanigan's a four star rating for the ribs and the service. The ribs are great. The service is great. A manager almost always stops by the table and will listen to you. Ken is a real host and always makes you feel welcome and appreciated, a real phenomena in Miami. This is a great neighborhood spot. You can sit at the bar with the rednecks and retirees, or at a table with the kids.

Splendid nautical themed restaurant. With $5.99 Lunch and 50% off Happy Hour, even your cheap date wont be disappointed!

this place barely needs a long review. just go get the ribs or a burger and try not to pour ALLL of the BBQ sauce down your throat. make sure you get garlic rolls too. They are usually busy and you will have to wait a little to sit but its worth it.

Very friendly place to go. My parents eat here at least 3 - 4 times a week. they have the joes meal deals during lunch. Which is basically a cheese burger, chicken wings, 1/2 a a chicken, and a couple of other things for $6. the also have the meal card that you bring everytime you come and after so many dishes you get one free( only during Lunch). The food is pretty good and fairly priced. It's definitely has the neighborhood restaurant feel. Everything on the menu is good. My favorite dish is the dolphin finger sandwich.

Where can you go on a late night for dinner, and get excellent service and affordable food? Flanigan's! This has become my go-to on late Saturday nights when I suddenly feel hungry around 11:30. The Ale House was my previous choice, but after being turned away during a fight this past Saturday November 13, and being told we had to pay $10 just to get in, and be stuck in standing-room only space, loud crowds, drunks, AND without food, I decided to take my business back to Flanigan's. Christina and JT have been my servers the past 3 times, and they are very friendly and attentive. The manager is also great. Caution: there is a jerk of a cop turning people away from the restaurant before closing time. Please make it a point to call before you come and it is late. If he tries turning you away, tell him that you called and once you get in, inform the manager of this. We did so and got free drinks on our visit, plus free drinks on our next visit. The cops are supposed to be there for safety reasons, not to turn away customers. If you order the fresh tuna, don't get it rare. I did and ended up with a mild case of food poisoning. My dining companion ordered it medium and had no problems. It tasted fishy, and in retrospect, I should have listened to my gut. Next time, I will leave the raw tuna to the sushi restaurants.

Horible service, had to wait more than 30 min to pay our bill, not to mention all the problems they had getting our orders right. Not happy with this place at all. Always buisy, and always understaffed.

Burgers, fish and outstanding wings. Wings are gratis after 10pm with purchase of a pitcher. Open Late. Regular hangout in NMB area. Other locations too. Modest prices, fast service, great value.

I devoured the dolphin fingers, they are so delish! Add a little bit of lemon and tartar sauce - to die for! Just the right breeding, the dolphin meat is so tender and the tartar sauce with the lemon gives it that kick. Discounted dos XX plus attentive service. Can't beat that. Oh btw I didn't even think about taking a pic that's how fast the dolphins fingers went down my esophagus!

  • Jeannie C.

Overall the food is fine - just depends on what you order. Parking can be a little crazy if you come during the busy periods. There's a bar for those that prefer to drink and/or eat at the bar. And one of the nice features...tv's all over the place.

  • Katrina W.

The food is the best of all the other flannigans I've visited. Their ribs are amazing and their burgers are on point. The service could definitely use some improvement; I can only thing of two servers that are good, and the rest are ok at best. Still one of my favorite places to eat in Miami.

Do it.

Burgers, fish and outstanding wings. Wings are gratis after 10pm with purchase of a pitcher. Open Late. Regular hangout in NMB area. Other locations too. Modest prices, fast service, great value.

Good ribs and best happy hour. Don't ask for any mixologist drinks! They can only make simple drinks which does not include an old fashion. The burgers are thick and juicy. It gets crowded at certain times. There are so many regulars.

  • Amber L.

    (1)
  • Andy W.

I give Flanigan's a four star rating for the ribs and the service. The ribs are great. The service is great. A manager almost always stops by the table and will listen to you. Ken is a real host and always makes you feel welcome and appreciated, a real phenomena in Miami. This is a great neighborhood spot. You can sit at the bar with the rednecks and retirees, or at a table with the kids.

this place barely needs a long review. just go get the ribs or a burger and try not to pour ALLL of the BBQ sauce down your throat. make sure you get garlic rolls too.

I love this place! Consistently great service, no matter where we sit, no matter when we come in! Food is always on point! Great service over the phone when placing to go orders too! Keep up the great work!

The food is the best of all the other flannigans I've visited. Their ribs are amazing and their burgers are on point. The service could definitely use some improvement; I can only thing of two servers that are good, and the rest are ok at best. Still one of my favorite places to eat in Miami.

Nasty.

It's a ok place. A little dark "lighting" but a nice place for locals to hang out at happy hour

Overall the food is fine - just depends on what you order. Parking can be a little crazy if you come during the busy periods. There's a bar for those that prefer to drink and/or eat at the bar. And one of the nice features...tv's all over the place.

A little disappointed in the wings of this place! For some reason it taste different than other locations but don't get me wrong I love this place and they serve great food. A pitcher of beer and the Heat game playing always is a good time!

Do it.

Horible service, had to wait more than 30 min to pay our bill, not to mention all the problems they had getting our orders right. Not happy with this place at all. Always buisy, and always understaffed.

Congrats!

You can sit at the bar with the rednecks and retirees, or at a table with the kids.

this place barely needs a long review. just go get the ribs or a burger and try not to pour ALLL of the BBQ sauce down your throat. make sure you get garlic rolls too.
